Ai is here, for better or worse. I morally fall on the side of isle that only wants it to be used for scaling, framing and concepting purposes. As others figure out a way to mimic hand crafted designs and paint a picture by only pressing a button, I want to lean into the core of creativity. The mind and body connection. What better way to showcase my personal style than my handwriting.
What better way to start creating your very own font than using your hand writing. Truly put my pen to paper for this one. I was very happy with the look and feel right off of the bat, from the first character written down with marker.
Then came the scanning process. These images went straight into illustrator to get peeled back and refined. After that, they were uploaded and developed everything was consistent but messy in the best way!
